Shamega Francis

Shamega Francis is currently a Hospital Responder/Outreach Worker for Life Camp Inc. working with the Crisis Management System advocating for communities in South Jamaica, Queens fighting against gun violence. Shamega is also a full-time barber, radio show coordinator and host. She writes and records music and does poetry in various NYC venues. She was awarded at the Recognize The Real awards by Senator Bill Perkins and The Board of Parole for formerly incarcerated individuals making great strides in society.
